Winterfest
So on Sunday I had the pleasure of hanging out with my beautiful childhood buddy Melissa. We had decided that we were going to check out Lyman Orchards’ Winterfest. We had such a great time! Above was a photo I had taken of one of the gorgeous blue-eyed Huskies that were “on display” with their owners for the dog sledding demonstration. There was also ice sculptures and an awesome horse-drawn sled ride (which I can now say I’ve been on one!) Afterward we bought a bottle of wine from a local vineyard and headed back to her place for some cheese, crackers, wine and laughs. It is always so long between visits with her, and we really need to make a pact that we won’t let time get away from us next time. She’s one of the only friends I have from my childhood that I’m still somewhat close to. You can see more pictures of the beautiful huskies and our silly antics here.

Huskies are beautiful dogs! And I love spending time with friends your don’t see that often, it makes your time together that much more precious.
And wine. You can never go wrong with wine.
Spending time with old friends just makes me so… content inside. It’s funny how knowing people you’ve known for half your life just makes you feel a little more understood in the world.
