The Big Cut

Oops, I did it again.
Because I can never seem to decide on a look, I changed my hair yet again. Somehow there is something some therapeutic about cutting/dying your hair.
And because my hair stylist was nice enough to give me a hefty gift certificate to get my hair done after taking her portraits, I decided to go and do something I said I wasn’t going to do for a very long time: chop my hair off.
It’s actually not insanely short, but no longer can I tie it back in a messy bun/ponytail. At least it will force me to actually make an effort and, you know, look presentable on a daily basis.
And that, my darlings, is the only new and exciting thing in my life. Because I really am that awesome.

I actually really like it … and will probably do something similar this weekend ’cause I’ve been going back & forth forever about getting bangs lol.
Thank you! You know what’s funny? That is the same response I’m getting from SO MANY of my friends regarding this haircut. Everyone keeps saying that they love the bangs and they’ve been wanting to do it themselves, but they’re kind of chicken to. I felt the same way. And now that I have them I LOVE them. They hide my big forehead. ;)

Yep, you really are that awesome. :) Like I said before, I love the cut, it looks great, hot lady!

I cannot pull off a haircut like that but you look really, really cute!
Re: make an effort: see, I always start off that way but a month or two in I just look crazy because I stop trying. :P
Ha, I hardly ever try. I can tell I hardly ever try because when I even make a SLIGHT attempt, it seems that people notice. Example: Today I put on pink lipstick and my co-worker came in and said “…Why does your face look so clean?” …Uh. I put make-up on? lol.

It looks super cute! I really like it. I once cut my hair short and liked it for about a day (so basically for as long as it was still styled by the hairdresser). The next day it looked horrible and lame, so now I’m back to… well… having no hair cut at all. But anyway. YOU look lovely. :)
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I’m usually the same way. There have been so many times where I’ve gotten my hair chopped off, and then realized the next day after showering that there is no way I could make it look cute again. And it’s so depressing. That’s one of the reasons why I had told myself I was never going to cut it short again. Thankfully I have an awesome hair stylist who knows that I don’t have the patience or talent to actually STYLE my hair, so make it easy. ;)

So, I have nothing to compare it to, but the cut and color look adorable!
Thanks for the comment! :)
@Jenny, Well thanks! And you’re quite welcome. ;)
