About

.

What can I say?  I’ve never been good at talking about myself.

I’m a twenty-six -seven, year old married woman living in my mother’s basement a beautiful house with my husband (Simon), my cat (Clea), my rabbit (Hopkins) and my two seven zebra finches (Dahlia and Steve [RIP Dahlia], Fluffernutter, Mr. Bojangles, Woogums, Storm, Puddles and Noodles).  We are hopefully did move into a brand new home sometime by the end of this century.  I am usually described as “goth” or “emo” when speaking of my loves (which include vampires and My Chemical Romance) and my looks (which include black [now it's a pretty chestnut brown] hair, a tiny little tattoo and a pierced eyebrow [which I have taken out since]), but my personality is usually described as something of a “dumb blonde” (forgive me, fair-haired readers).

I am indecisive and a worrier, constantly changing my mind about who I am, and always fearing the worst in any situation (my current obsession is our house burning down while we’re away at work and my cat dying in the flames.  Morbid, much?)  I am a wannabe-geek, photographer and web-designer, although I never claim to be any.  I pass my time by surfing the web, watching “Big Bang Theory”, “The Vampire Diaries”, “Glee”, “Archer” or HGTV… or sleeping.  Oh, how I love sleep.

As for the site, Skyspun.org opened sometime in late April after my darling cyber-lover Shannon convinced me to switch hosting companies.  After having Constant-Casualty.net or about a year, I decided I wanted something a little more feminine.  It’s been a while since I’ve fallen in love with a domain name (Gracewithin.org was my first and true love for years)… but I really feel like this will be my home.  I have no aspirations for what this domain will become, because every time I try and make plans, I never follow through.  And so, I will leave it open and it will be what it will be.

I will no doubt re-write this a few times before settling on something that truly describes who I am.  Because, honestly, who can sum up themselves in a couple of paragraphs sitting under the “About” page?

My name is Jessa and I am.
